Your meal deal actually has more calories than a BIG MAC AND FRIES
You won’t want a chicken stuffing again
Exams are upon us and as you’re getting to the library early you’re more than certain to stop at the shops to grab yourself a classic lunch-time combo: the meal deal.
Why do we love them? They’re cheap, you get a sandwich, snack and a drink all for a bargain price.
Following on from seeing how depressing 100 calories on a plate looks, we’re going to show you what’s in your glorious meal deal.
Here are six different combos from six different shops and broken down with the fat, sugar, salt and calorie content of each one.
Bear in mind the recommended daily salt intake is six grams for adults, sugar is 70 grams for men and 50 grams for women and calories should be around 2500 for men and 2000 for women. Saturated fat should be 30 grams for men and 20 grams for women.
