Over the bank holiday weekend, we were hit with the devastating news that the Duke of Hastings was not going to be in season two of Bridgerton. After then, the entire Bridgerton fandom went into official mourning, and it is only now that we can (kinda) come to terms with it, and share our thirstiest but saddest memes about the news of Regé-Jean Page leaving the series.

Announcing the heartbreaking news on Twitter, Netflix said: “Dearest Readers, while all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Regé-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings.
