A complete timeline of the shocking allegations against Ezra Miller

Ezra Miller has found themselves at the centre of some incredibly serious allegations. This time, the family of an 18-year-old activist has accused them of grooming their daughter from the age of 12.

Several petitions to remove Miller from the DC Universe – they’ll next play The Flash in 2023 – have already been circulating around the internet.

This isn’t the first time the Fantastic Beasts star (whose pronouns are they/them) has attracted legal trouble over the years. From barfights to breaking-and-entering, assault to non-consensual kissing – here’s everything you need to know about the allegations Ezra Miller has faced:

July 2017

The Fantastic Beasts actor kisses a fan without consent

In a clip released by TMZ, Miller is shown to kiss a fan without him making it clear he wanted to be kissed.

The footage was taken by the fan himself, at San Diego Comic Con. He asked Miller if they were “drunk,” to which the actor responded “does anyone know why it would be difficult for The Flash to get drunk? This is a fast-fact question.” Ezra Miller has played The Flash since 2016.

Miller was asked by the fan to “let me smell your breath.” The actor leaned in and kissed him instead. They’ve never responded to claims the kiss was non-consensual.

November 2018

A journalist says Miller kept their crossbow from Killer Kevin film

In 2011, one of Miller’s breakout roles was in the BBC film We Need to Talk About Kevin. In the movie, they play a teenager who murders his family and classmates with a crossbow – which the actor allegedly kept in their house for years.

During a 2018 interview with Miller, Hollywood Reporter journalist Tatiana Siegel noted they “(offered) to bring out the actual crossbow, which they keep on the property.”

April 2020

Miller appears to choke a woman in Reykjavik, Iceland

A video – which went viral on Twitter in 2020 – showed Miller appearing to choke a woman in Iceland. According to Variety, the actor became frustrated with “pushy” teenage fans approaching them. They threw the woman to the ground after “throttling” her – but police were not called at the time.

Miller never released a public statement about the incident.

March 2022

Miller is arrested for assaulting a man in Hawaii

According to a Buzzfeed report, Miller was arrested for “lunging” at a man playing darts in a bar. The reasons for this are unknown, and they were later released on bail.

April 2022

Miller is arrested for second-degree assault

After allegedly being asked to leave a private gathering in the early hours, Miller became angry and threw a chair, which hit a 26-year-old woman on the head. They were found just 20 minutes later by police, and taken into custody.

The woman reportedly had a half-inch cut on her forehead – but refused hospital treatment.

Ezra Miller hasn’t publicly responded to any of the arrests or allegations.

A Hawaiian couple is granted a temporary restraining order against the actor

Miller has been accused of bursting into a couple’s bedroom and verbally assaulting them. As well as allegedly stealing the couple’s bank cards, social security cards, drivers’ licenses and and passports, they reportedly threatened to “bury” the husband “and your slut wife.”

Less than three weeks after it was granted, the restraining order was dropped.

June 2022

A family allege their daughter was groomed by Miller

The family of 18-year-old activist and member of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, Tokata Iron Eyes, alleged Miller had groomed her from the age of 12.

They’ve alleged their daughter was plied with alcohol, LSD and weed, as well as showing patterns of “corrupting a minor.”

Tokata herself responded on Instagram, denying the claims: “My comrade Ezra Miller for the entirety of the aforementioned era has only provided loving support and invaluable protection throughout this period of loss.”

The Tab has contacted Ezra Miller’s representation for comment.
