Former Love Islanders react to the Jacques and Luca Instagram live saga

Following Luca and Jacques’ Instagram live where they mocked their former Love Island co-stars, Islanders have began to react to the videos and have called them out for their behaviour and some have even gone as far to unfollow them on Instagram. In the live, the two made shady comments about Paige and Adam’s relationship, mocked Remi Lambert’s rapping and made comments about Davide and Ekin-Su’s win on the show.

Screen recordings of the Instagram live were heavily circulated across social media platforms and former Love Island stars from past and latest seasons have called out the two as well as sharing their support to Remi after he slammed them for “bullying” in and outside the Love Island villa. Adam Collard reacted to Jacques and Luca’s shady comments about his relationship with Paige Thorne

Nothing else screams unbothered like Adam’s response to the video. During the live, the two were asked about Paige and Adam’s relationship and Jacques sarcastically said: “They seem like they get on really really well. They seem very happy together.” After the live went viral, Adam quote tweeted it and said: “Humble in defeat our kid, chin up”.

Amber Gill shared her support for Remi in an Instagram comment

Remi addressed the live where Jacques and Luca had made fun of his rapping in a lengthy statement on his Instagram page. Remi said: “Everyone said I lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there. Don’t know why they wasn’t kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It’s not banter, it’s clear signs of bullying.”

The Instagram was praised by fans who supported him, along with season five winner Amber Gill. She commented: “Go off!” and “Isn’t one of them supposed to be working on themselves?”

Tasha liked Remi’s post and unfollowed Jacques on Instagram

After Remi posted the statement, fans noticed immediately that his fellow Islander, Tasha Ghouri, had liked the post and swiftly unfollowed Jacques on Instagram. In leaked clips, Jacques was shown to be mocking Tasha during the final where she made her declaration of love to Andrew. In the video Jacques said: “You are a liar, actress, get the f*ck out,” and laughed.
