His injuries are not thought to be life threatening
The man who was stabbed in Winton last night had gone to a KFC to seek help before being airlifted to hospital.
Police cordoned off the area around Parkstone and Heatherlands Wetherspoons yesterday at 18:50pm last night. An investigation into attempted murder has since been launched.
A 28-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of murder and a 29-year-old female has been arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm. Both are from Bournemouth.
It is believed he was stabbed in a nearby house.
A house in Winton between Chicken & Blues and Conto Lounge has remained cordoned off as police investigate further.
The 20-year-old male victim's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Dorset Police have said that they are increasing the police presence throughout the area while the investigation is ongoing.
Gavin House, Detective Inspector of Bournemouth CID said: "A full investigation is underway by detectives and I would urge anyone who was in the area at the relevant time and saw or heard anything suspicious to please contact Dorset Police."
