It has been described as a ‘tragic accident’


A 20-year-old has died after falling down the stairs in SWX.

Bradley Rollings was taken to hospital after falling down the stairs in the Bristol nightclub on Saturday 14th November.

The terrible incident occurred at SWX, formerly known as Syndicate on Nelson street.

Bradley, who was from Swindon, died on Wednesday after the injuries he sustained from this shocking accident.

An Avon & Somerset Police spokesman said they are “investigating circumstances around an incident circumstances around an incident involving Mr Rollings falling down the stairs at the SWX nightclub in Bristol on November 14.”

They have described it as a “tragic accident.”

Paul Kinsey, the owner of SWX made a statement on the Facebook page: “We have just seen press reports about the tragic death of a customer Bradley Rollings, who has died in hospital where he was admitted after falling down the stairs at the front entrance to SWX in a tragic accident. No other person was involved and our staff attended very quickly, administered appropriate first aid and called for an ambulance.

“As a father it is extremely difficult to imagine the pain that Bradley’s friends and family are feeling and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to them.

“We have already provided CCTV coverage and statements to the authorities, who have concluded that this was a tragic accident and we will be providing any co operation that the Coroner’s department requires. We will also be offering support as necessary to our team members who were involved.”

Tributes are being made on Bradley’s Facebook page.

Emma Taylor said: “My heart is broken into pieces.

“The things you used to say always cracked me up. You were way too young to go. Life is so unfair. Rest in piece Brad, carry on cracking jokes and opening champagne up there.”
