American Footballers have a three match ban after sexist event description

It said: ‘You’ll get another chance ram your penis deep down a cheer leads throat’

The American Football team have a three match ban after their controversial social description was leaked on Yik Yak.

The event – posted on Facebook for their toga social – said they needed to “drown” themselves in “pussy” and they could “cum all over” a cheerleader’s face.

The teammate who wrote the description has been banned from the team, and the club must now sign a good behaviour pledge.

This is what the event description said:

The American Footballers told The Tab: “The situation was dealt with a week ago and is now resolved, we’re working with the University to make sure the proper steps are taken so this type of incident doesn’t happen again.

“The teammate who wrote the event details has been banned from the team.”

With the recent worries about lad culture at Brookes, the incident hasn’t been taken lightly by the uni.

Brookes have issued a statement which said: “Oxford Brookes is aware of inappropriate messages posted by the University’s American Football team. We are very disappointed by these posts, which are completely unacceptable.

“As a result, the American Football team has received a three-match ban and the student responsible for the original message will also face disciplinary action.

“In addition, the American Football team has proposed and agreed to undertake a series of additional measures to proactively develop a cultural change.

“This includes undertaking training to combat lad culture, agreeing a good behaviour pledge which must be followed by all members of the team and organising a charity fundraising event.”
