Fashion in the Forum: Week Five
What a beautiful bunch!
Fashion month may long be over, but in Exeter, it has only just begun. As week five draws to a close this week’s fashionistas are making the most of the final rays of sunshine.
Sophie, First Year, History of Art & Visual Culture
Another week, another immaculately dressed Art History student. Sadly, Sophie’s tasselled jacket is from Portugal but her equally dreamy boho jeans are from Zara.
Olivia, Fourth Year, French and Italian
Linguist Olivia also seems to be channelling boho chic in the Exeter sunshine. Her peasant blouse is from Zara.
Lottie, Fourth Year, Spanish
Lottie’s cosy outfit was perfect for the crisp winter’s morning but the most exciting part of her outfit are undoubtedly her Veja trainers. Veja are the environmentally friendly shoes of the moment – Meghan Markle was recently papped wearing them in Australia.
Will, First Year, English
Will’s outfit is an absolute winner thanks to the simplicity of the neutral colour palette. His coat and jumper are from Depop but Will’s sunny backpack is a Kånken from Swedish brand Fjällräven, available at Urban Outfitters.
El, Third Year, Biochemistry
One of the cutest of the models this week, El wears some light wash wide leg jeans from Weekday. Her fur stole is from Charlotte Simone. You can’t quite see but El’s beaut earrings are hand made by Exeter student Louisa Pattisson – have a look at her Depop @loupajewellery for some more gems!
Jimmy, Second Year, PPE
Jimmy sports the shoe of the moment – the Buffalo trainer. A favourite of the Spice Girls, the Buffalo trainer defined 90s style. Jimmy rocks hers with a vintage Tommy Jeans t shirt and gingham midi skirt from Urban Outfitters.
Chloe, Third Year, History of Art & English
Chloe’s keeping cosy in this big faux fur stole from H&M. We LOVE how she has matched it to the faux fur cuffs of her trousers.
Max, Second Year, Economics & Finance
"Candidly" posed Max boasts a full vintage look. While Max’s particular items aren’t available, you can cop yourself a similar look from MG VINTAGE.
Rory, Third Year, English
Cord continues to be a favourite on campus this week. Rory’s green corduroy trousers are from a Charity shop.
Ayisha, Third Year, History
Our final fashionista of the week Ayisha shows us how to make your summer staples suitable for winter. Her chunky loafers are from a charity shop but check out Dr. Martens for some similar styles.
