Leeds uni narrowly misses out on top 100 for QS 2018 world rankings

Gutted

The University of Leeds just missed the top hundred universities in the world and came 101st in the QS World University Rankings for UK performances for 2018. Last year we were 93rd so we’ve fallen quite far.

Unsurprisingly, the University of Cambridge came first in the UK in 5th place and the University of Oxford second in 6th place. The University of Manchester came in tied 34th with the University of Nottingham and the University of Birmingham came in at 84th.

However, Leeds did beat the University of York, which came in at 135th, Cardiff University at 137th, the University of Bath at 160th, the University of Liverpool at 173rd and the University of Reading at 188th.
