Better get your wellies out

The Met Office predicted that up to 20cm of rain will fall across Greater Manchester this weekend.

Indicating a severe weather warning,  poor Manchester residents will see 20cm of rain between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning.

People should expect flooding and overflowing rivers across the Manchester metropolis.

The already high amount of massive puddles across the city will likely turn into mini-rivers by Monday morning.

Second year Manchester student Charlotte said “Being from near Manchester and all, this is no surprise to me. If people at university here are going to be scared of a little rain you came to the wrong bloody city!”.

Third year student Charlie said “Southern students might be used to nice conditions back home but up here it’s a different story”.
