Cubo’s coming back under a different name with new staff and facilities
It will reopen next week as ‘The Nest’
Fallowfield’s favourite basement club will reopen next week as “The Nest” with all new staff and facilities.
Its intimate underground vibe has been an iconic part of Fallowfield's nightlife for more than two years, providing a venue for events starring both DJs from miles around and ones with your flatmate on the decks.
Now, after a period of worry about the nightclubs future we can announce that it will be re-opening under new management as The Nest, and remaining open for the foreseeable future.

The Club has been through a full refurb over winter
Ben Hourahine, the club’s owner, told: The Manchester Tab: "We are extremely excited for a new beginning, where we aim to put on a diverse range of events across different music genres.
"Future events will feature both up and coming & established artists. The venue has had been fully refurbished over the winter break with brand new, Draught & Craft Pints, Cocktail Menu, Toilets, Funktion One Soundsystem, Lighting, visual mapping and projections, and Staff team.”
The Nest will be launching on Saturday the 25th with an event from Jungle legends SERIAL KILLAZ, although they are keen to emphasise they are not exclusively hosting established artists for pre-existing promoters.
“We are really looking for new student promoters and artists who want to gain a foothold in the industry as well as bringing in established artists to Fallowfield for a really reasonable price.
"For any promoters interested in booking future events please contact us via our facebook page."
