Tup Tup goes doggystyle: Rap legend Snoop to DJ at the Palace
Newcastle to get the Blue Carpet Treatment from hip-hop big dog
Isabella EckertCalvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. aka Snoop Dogg, Snoop Lion, Snoopzilla and – most recently – DJ Snoopadelic, is coming to Tup Tup Palace.
On 9th June, the Palace will host ‘an exclusive and intimate 2 hour DJ & MC set from a living hip hop legend’.
Snoop Dogg has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, and this is just the next stage in his venture to be the most bizarrely-named musician ever.
Snoop Dogg declared his love for “Euro tekno” back in 2012 and created his fourth musical persona “DJ Snoopadelic”.
He released a compilation called Loose Joints Vol. 1 which featured Toddla T and French Fries.
Tickets for the Newcastle event went on sale on Sunday 11th May and are now on second release at £39.20, with standard tickets to be sold at £50.40. You can get tickets at http://www.tuptuppalace.com/.
