How to get a fuckboy to leave you alone

‘Sorry, we’re lesbians’ is always a winner

| UPDATED

Wish you could get that skeevy guy at the bar to leave you the heck alone, but nothing you say seems to get him to give up, even though it’s SO obvious you’re not interested? We asked some badass babes for their funniest, snarkiest, and best responses to annoying guys and/or fuckbois.

Take their words of wisdom as inspiration and the next time a guy just won’t leave you alone, hit him with one of these.

Jessica Ashley Resnick, 22, Brandeis University

“A guy was really annoying me in a bar once and I was wearing a cat watch. After not taking a hint for a half an hour, he said, “Hey, I love your cat watch”, to which I replied, “Thanks! I wear it because I’m a lesbian.” I then proceeded to shout: “I LOVE PUSSY!”and he left me alone for the rest of the night.”

Emily Talley, 22, Boston University

“I had a guy pester me about my astrological sign so finally I just said, “Dollar sign bitch, you can’t afford me, move on.” I’m still not sorry.”

Carly Rose Willing, 20, Boston University

“Me and my friends have a secret code word so that if some guy is bothering one of us we go over and kiss each other on the cheek and pretend we’re dating”.

Christianna, 21, University of Connecticut grad student, Boston University alumna

Christianna had an entire list re: working at a restaurant / bar.

“Guy walked by saying, “Hey beautiful…” And I literally responded “don’t talk to me” and he was so shocked. Another time guys at a bar were saying they really liked us and a kiss wouldn’t do any harm even though they’re married. I literally grabbed his hand and said “it helps you’re not wearing your ring, huh? So interesting!”

“The final one is a bit more serious:

“I was hit on by a particular male and his friends at the bar. He tried to pick me up with compliments, and then invaded my life when I replied that I am dating someone else, and he was saying that if I hadn’t been with them more than x amount of time then it didn’t matter, and that he and his friend thought that I was around 21.

“Their group stared at me as I sat tables outside and smirked, and they mentioned to each other that I had a boyfriend.

“In the business of hospitality, I usually smile and greet others with joy. My turn down of this male multiple times did not stop them from their staring, even when I later gave them glares with my eyes.

“I walked up and said:

“Hi guys, I don’t appreciate the lack of respect and decency you’ve shown tonight, or the staring at me and talking to and about me. Also, even if I WAS single, I wouldn’t choose you.”

“He went to the bartender and told on me. He said that he didn’t deserve to be treated that way by me in front of other people for the amount of money he was spending there, especially because “he didn’t do anything”.

“I knew I could get in trouble having male superiors. But, my bartender manager stood up for me and did not side with him, telling me to let him know if anything else happens. He also listened to me and my experience.

Sara Joy Hogg, 21, Virginia Tech

“I was with my friend in a park when this dude wouldn’t leave me alone. He kept asking for my number and to take me out, and finally my friend interjected and said: “She’s my girlfriend, we’re lesbians, and we’re on a date”. She took my hand and we walked away. We could hear him saying, “damn, y’all need a third?” as we left.
