What should BC’s newest dorm be named?

‘New dorm’ is a top contender

Standing tall at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and St. Thomas More road, BC’s newest building will soon replace Edmonds Hall as big man on campus (architecturally).

The Tab went out and asked some students their suggestion for the name of the new dormitory.

 Austin Hong, Senior

“‘Comm Tom,’ because of Commonwealth Ave and St. Thomas More Road.”

Noelle Scarlett, Sophomore

“Baldwin Hall.”

Joan Roubian, Junior

“The New Dorm, because that’s how our class will always remember it.”

David Simpson, Junior

“Crowther Hall.”

Kyle Donohue, A&S ’17, Reading, MA

“Poehler Hall, after Amy Poeheler, and also because it gets cold here (play on the word “polar”).

Christian Nelson, Senior

“Matt Ryan’s Domain.”

Julia Capano, Senior

“Beyond the Gate.”

Justin Yun, Sophomore

“2150, like how 90 St. Thomas More is just called 90.”

Tatiana Abrantes, Junior

“Brady Hall, after Tom Brady.”

Kim Hays, Freshman

 “Flutie Hall.”

Zac Cote, Senior

“Ryan Hall, after Matt Ryan.”

Morgan Ludovico, Junior

“Eagleton, the neighboring town on Parks and Recreation. Also an Amy Poehler reference.”

Jaclyn LaRocca, Junior

“‘No Man’s Land,’ because it’s so far away from everything.”
