BC students break the bubble

Are you surprised Newbury Street is popular getaway spot?

Everyone needs to get away from the craziness of campus every once in awhile.

Because BC is so close to the T, we can easily get into the heart of Boston and explore the city.

The Tab asked BC students about their favorite things to do off-campus to break the BC bubble:

Hailey Burgess, Freshman, Undecided

“Shopping on Newbury Street.”

Jen Bloom, Senior, Finance and Philosophy

“I love to go out to eat. I really like Deep Ellum in Allston.”

Mac Collison, Senior, Finance

“I like to play sports in Brighton.”

Feier Zhao, Freshman, Psychology

“I love jogging around the Reservoir. And I love Newbury Street. Georgetown Cupcakes is my favorite.”

Alexa Pantina, Sophomore, Accounting

“I love going to the Boston Commons when it’s warm out.”

Arthur Bailin, Junior, English

“I like the North End.”

Molly Newcomb, Sophomore, Math and Political Science

“I love going to different coffee shops in Boston. I really like Trident Café on Newbury Street.”

Connor Sands, Freshman, Finance and Accounting

“I like going to sporting events in Boston, like Red Sox games.”

Juniors Rose Clemons (Marketing and English) and Dan Cushing (Communication)

Rose: “I like going to Improv Asylum in Boston, or going to shows.”

Dan: “Osaka in Brookline is my favorite restaurant.”

Ryan Corl, Sophomore, Accounting

“I like to go to concerts in the city.”

Natalia Baginski, Senior, Communications and Biology

Many students also mentioned the MFA, Coolidge Corner, the South End, and the Boston Public Gardens at fun places to spend a Saturday.

BC, break out of the bubble.
