Plexapalooza sells out in record-breaking two minutes

And naturally BC students are having major FOMO

This morning, thousands of us rose early on their first day of the semester to secure tickets for Campus Activities Board’s Plexapalooza, headlined by The Chainsmokers

And thousands of Eagles were disappointed when all 1,800 tickets sold out by 8:01 am.

Senior Christine Cocce, President of CAB, said: “While we are happy to see that students are excited about this event, we understand the frustrations regarding the limited number of tickets.”

Though nearly a quarter of the undergraduate population secured a ticket, the ones who didn’t are pissed – and are taking to social media.

Senior Hayley Folkard said: “The whole process was really hectic. I went to my friends’ room across the hall and we all just sat around in our pajamas yelling at our computers.

“As a senior, I just kept saying that I wished we had gotten priority or the tickers were sold in waves, but once we found out they were officially sold out we all just sat around laughing about the comments on the Facebook page.”

Unfortunately, the event is at maximum capacity.

Christine added: “The maximum capacity of the venue is 1,800 people due to fire code and safety laws, and all tickets were sold this morning.

“The standard policy of two tickets per student ID has always been in place for this event.

“We have already identified students online who are attempting to resell their ticket at a higher price point, and this is a reminder that those tickets will be void without refund.”

Better luck next time, Eagles.
