Florida State style: Game Day edition
We don’t mess around with fashion
It’s no secret that here at Florida State, we’re a little crazy about game day. Club sports, varsity sports, intramurals, it doesn’t matter- we love a good warchant and a good game.
While it may not be apparent by walking through campus on a Tuesday afternoon (and I’m putting all the blame on Florida’s bipolar weather), State students have impeccable style. To prove it I took to the stands at the FSU vs. Miami game, and found the best dressed students Florida State basketball had to offer.
Ana Vazquez, Psych, Senior
“My favorite thing about FSU is definitely the athletics.”
Simone Powell, Biology, Freshman
Lindsay Greene, Social Work, Grad student
“I would describe my personal style as simple, and my favorite thing about FSU is the resources it offers students. The professors are also great!”
Mckoya Banton, Sports Management, Freshman
“My favorite thing about FSU are the athletic games.”
Nathan Vale, Social Work, Grad student
“My personal style is probably hipster-y, and I love FSU athletics.”
Sydney Tavares, Biomedical Engineering, Freshman
“My favorite thing about FSU, besides the sports, is meeting new people.”
Susana Arias, Industrial Engineering, Junior
“My favorite thing about FSU would have to be the diversity, and the culture on campus.”
Jane Robson, Junior, History
“My favorite thing about Florida State is Florida State football!”
The consensus is out folks, State students have some serious school spirit and we dress really well.
