What’s your weirdest phobia?
The fear of pickles: cucumisphobia
We all have those bizarre phobias that render us strangely terrified without really knowing why.
Sometimes, we have equally bizarre reasons as to why we are so scared of some things, and other times, the only thing we know is if exposed to our phobia, we will probably throw up, cry or scream, or all of the above.
Either way, if you are looking for a weird phobia to get an extension on that midterm paper that no professor can contest, take inspiration from some of your fellow Hoyas.

“I’m probably afraid of a lot of things…hmm…The fear of fear is my biggest fear.”

“I have horrible arachnophobia. My junior year of high school, my parents decided to take a service trip to Haiti which, surprise, has tarantulas everywhere…So anyway, I got hypnotherapy for it, which didn’t help and I’m still deathly afraid of spiders. I’m also afraid of going to bed without covers.”
Eleni, 18
“Basically anything that has to do with bugs.”

I guess a phobia of small holes is real.
