What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?

‘How many words do I have? I have a lot to say’

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…midterms season is almost over, and for a blissful four days, Hoyas will be exam-less.

That’s right, folks, it’s Thanksgiving break.

As students at one of the most prestigious universities in the country, we have a lot to be thankful for: a meal at home instead of Leo’s, Bernie coming to Georgetown, and having the sexiest men on campus.

We asked students around the Hilltop what else they were thankful for this Thanksgiving season.

Bailey, 19, Burke, VA

“I’m thankful for pretty basic things. I like candles.”

Paulina, 19, Miami, FL

“I’m thankful for the jacket my mom bought me on that one skiing trip we took years ago. Finally came in handy.”

Kennedy, 20, Mankato, MN

“I’m thankful for my friends on the hilltop and my relatives that collectively make my most valued family.”

Sara, 19, Boston, MA

“I’m thankful for my family.”

Nick, 19, Sharon, MA

“I’m thankful for Bailey (mentioned above) waking me up at 1AM.”

John, 19, Dallas, TX

“I’m thankful that this interview is almost over.”

Andrew, 19, Baltimore, MD

“How many words do I have? I have a lot to say.”

Julia, 20, Seattle, WA

“Mac and Cheese Mondays are definitely a highlight of my week.”

Christa, 20, Blue Bell, PA

“I’m thankful for peanut butter.”

Jay, 19, Houston, TX

“I’m thankful for meal swipes at Einstein’s. Does anyone else need a freakin’ yogurt cup and Honest Tea?”
