College is a major growth period during our young adult lives. We enter as naïve high school graduates and learn what independence truly is in making our own schedules, planning our own days and managing our own time. We leave —more or less — as adults, going further to find real jobs, establish ourselves and even start families.

We grow as individuals and truly discover who we are in college, and some of us find others to grow with along the way.

That all being said, while relationships are hard work, maintaining a relationship during as trivial of a time as college is an entirely different story. Some prefer to be in long term, committed relationships during college, while others seek to explore, test the waters and keep things strictly short term with partners.
