UPDATE: Harrison suspect has been taken into custody
Law enforcement will continue on-scene investigation
At approximately 1:30, “officers […] broke a window in 1173B” to gain entry.
The police apprehended the suspect at approximately 2:20, and confirmed the resolution of the situation via Madison Alert at 2:39. The alert read, “The incident at 1173 Devon Lane has been resolved. Subject has been taken into custody. Law enforcement will continue on-scene investigation.”
Residents are still not being allowed to enter their already-evacuated apartments while police continue the investigation, though the clubhouse still remains a safe place for those evacuated to go.
