The Tab has launched at the University of Michigan

Keep Tabs on UMich life, one article at a time

Whether you are sitting in lecture hall 1800 in the Chem building, catching a few (unexpected) rays at the tables outside of Espresso Royale on South U, or carefully stepping over the gold M in the diag, as a Michigan student, you know the type of news you want to hear about campus life.

And who better to write about student-centric news than the students themselves?

The Tab is a new kind of platform for students to write and read about intriguing, popular, and relevant Ann Arbor news that specifically caters to campus life. And the best part? These reporters are just like you.

They struggle to find a seat on the bus from Bursley to CC Little. They snag a slice of pizza from NYPD post-Skeeps Thursdays. They refill their coffee at Bert’s for a 3rd, 4th, and 5th time. And most importantly, they report the stories that you want to hear about. They live through the experiences that you relate to, and the Tab is here to share them — in a style you actually want to read.

The Tab Michigan is kicking off with some great pieces: an article about Smart Water fanatics on campus, a peek into the mind of a California girl during winter in Ann Arbor, and an essay from an English major who somehow managed to pass Organic Chem.
