Michigan is ranked number three for best value colleges in America
Don’t worry, even the out-of-state tuition is worth it
Time Money have released their annual ranking of the best value for money colleges in America and Michigan is sitting pretty at the number three spot.
We all know Michigan is the #1 public school in the nation, but now, compared to both public and private schools, Michigan is still in the lead. Time magazine and Money used 27 different data points to rank over 700 colleges in the United States to create this impressive list.
These points include: average ACT/SAT score of students, average tuition costs, percent of need-based financial aide, and projected early career earnings.
Just behind Princeton and CUNY Bernard M Baruch College, Michigan's #3 ranking puts them above Stanford (#5) Harvard (#10), Michigan State (#30), and Ohio State (#102).
