Want to get laid? Here’s where you should take your date at Pitt

Classy is overrated

At some point in college, everyone goes on a date. Here's a list of places to take your significant other. Some of these may surprise you.

Primanti Bros

Not many people would think of this place as romantic, but trust me. The sandwiches are big, hard to eat, and messy. But thats the fun of it! Watching the person sitting across from you trying to fit the sandwich in their mouth is pretty funny to see.

IHOP (but only at weird hours)

I was very happy to find out that there was an IHOP near campus. Just take the 61D to get there. The best part? It's open 24 hours a day. Going there at an off hour is always an interesting experience. The people you see are always characters. Plus, it's a great place to go if you have the munchies.

The top floor of Cathy

We've all been to Cathy, but how many can say that they and their significant other went up to the top floor and took the stairs down, while exploring every floor? My girlfriend and I did this, and it's actually more fun than it sounds. You'll find that a lot of the floors look exactly the same. Others will blow you away.

Sphinx Cafe and Hookah Bar

The Sphinx Cafe and Hookah Bar is a great place to go. It's also pretty cheap. Located inside a church at the far end of Atwood street, this small, cash only hookah bar will definitely give any couple a good night.

The health center

This one only works if both of you are sick. It's another favorite of mine and my girlfriends as we both get sick a lot. Plan a trip to the health center to get medicine or be told you're fine and turned away–there's no in between. If you're lucky, there'll be a long line for treatment. More time to hang out!
