Here’s what really went down in Eisgruber’s office
The full-length video of Eisgruber’s debate with the BJL has been released
During the #OccupyNassau sit-in, President Eisgruber addressed demands of the Black Justice League before fielding questions about his views on racism at Princeton.
The president engaged in a 35-minute back-and-forth with protesters that become heated pretty quickly.
Eisgruber repeated that he would not sign the document, saying that “a very robust form of free speech that allows for the expression of offensive viewpoints helps to create change.”
Protesters offered specific anecdotes about incidents of racism on campus and urged Eisgruber to hold his faculty members – some of whom the protesters called racist – accountable.
