UCI ranked as one of the greenest colleges in America

The Princeton Review recently came out with its 2017 University Rankings and it’ll feel good to know that you’re coming back to the 16th greenest college in America.

Though the ranking didn’t explicitly state the parameters of the ranking, UCI has been recognized by the Sierra Club and the U.S. Department of Energy for the campus sustainability efforts.The Princeton Review also named UCI as a member of their Green Honor Roll, which examines the sustainability of the campus.
Our school has always had a commitment to sustainability and environmental vitality. UCI has a 25 year-old energy management program uses on-site renewable energy systems like the solar panels you see on every UCI parking garage. The Dining Services on campus work to limit wastefulness by eliminating trays in dining areas.
