Second crash on campus today as cars collide on North Eagleville
Police and ambulance arrived at the scene swiftly
A red truck and a van collided outside Hillel at around 6.30pm this evening.
This is the second car accident on campus of the day after a UPS truck crashed into the Blue Line bus three hours before.
A source said: “I didn’t see exactly what happened. I was just walking into Hillel and I heard a very loud crash.
“It looked like a red truck rear ended a van right outside of Atwater on North Eagleville.
“The driver of the red truck got out of his car and walked up to the window of the van but the driver of the van didn’t get out.
“A couple of girls running by stopped to ask if they were OK and they opened the door to make sure the driver was OK.
“Police and ambulance services showed up after and the police and the two cars are currently in the parking lot next to the Chem building.
“I didn’t see if left with someone in it.”
