It’s getting hot out there
It’s the morning after.
You wake up confused as to whether you are hungover or maybe you are still in your so called food coma from the night before. Yes, you want to stay in bed all day but you need to get up and get going. Grab your Cuban coffee because it’ll wake you up and is more addictive and amazing than any drug. Worried and feeling guilty about all the goodies you ate and for #treatingyoself – DON’T. You can get back into your bikini you just have to plan your attack to burn off all those extra calories, how? I got you covered. Here is the seven day guide to getting your body back.
Monday
Everyone loves wine, how could you not. But those 6 oz. of mulled wine set you back 156 calories. Miami is in the “sunshine state” so do not fear. You can head to your pool (we all have one or know someone who does) and swim laps freestyle for 16 minutes and you will burn off 159 calories- sparing you three extra calories.
Tuesday
If it’s a carb heavy day, you’ll be eating a lot. Let’s focus on the first course- Linguine with Crab and Lobster sauce. This will set you back about 600 calories but nothing is better than carbs with a rich lobster sauce to top it off- seriously NOTHING compares. How to work this off? No one can complain about our sunny weather and hot temps so drag yourself outside for a 60 minute run (not jog) and burn off that pasta.
Wednesday
Can’t forget the potatoes, mashed to be specific. One cup = 237 calories. You may feel like you’re dragging and can’t move but you can do it! Take yourself to the beach and have a brisk walk for an hour to burn off all those taters – Grab a friend who could use it too.
Thursday
Head to Pure Barre to tuck off the cannolis you’ve enjoyed and all the extra goodies you ate this weekend. One class of pure Barre (a total body workout) will burn off hundreds of extra calories from your waistline.
Friday
You CAN have your Champagne and DRINK it too but you then have to dance it off. A bottle of Champagne is about 500 calories. It sounds like a lot but we all know it was worth it. Now how to punish yourself Miami style? Easy: grab your girlfriends or your boyfriend and head to a club in South Beach. LIV, WALL, Story, Ivvy, Mokai, the list could go on forever. You can burn about 437 calories per hour of ass-shaking. The point is, we’re looking at being out all night and leaving the club in the morning, but just because you burned off what you ate and drank doesn’t mean you can make a late night stop and grab deep fried Oreos at Big Pink.
Saturday
And last but not least you cannot forget the stuffing! One cup, but let’s be real you will have two will set you back about 530 calories. Burn baby burn is the song you should sing to yourself as you drive yourself to soul cycle COGA on this early Saturday morning and have one of the enthusiastic and passionate teachers to whip your butt back into perky shape.
Sunday
Treat yourself for some much need REST & RELAXION. You deserve it. Fuel your body by hydrating on H2O, and eating healthy, and clean foods today.
