UT is the number one public university in Texas

No surprises: UT has been ranked the best public university in Texas, and 14th in the nation.

According to Business First, we made the list way ahead of Texas A&M (at number 30) and UT Dallas (at number 40).

The rankings are based off points for selectivity, retention and graduation rates, diversity, and academic prestige.

Top ranked is UNC, UMich, and UVA.
