UT Austin is one of the most sleep deprived schools in the country

Feeling sleepy?

According to data recently released by Jawbone, UT Austin is one of the most sleep deprived schools in the country.

The average UT student gets 6.88 hours a night, making us the 38th most sleep deprived school. Longhorns wake up around 8:21am on weekdays and head back to bed around 12:50am to do it all over again.

There is a pretty direct correlation between school ranking and sleep deprivation, which might explain why we get less sleep than Texas A&M, Duke, and Texas Tech.

Sleep doesn’t lie.
