Revealed: How much are you spending on the gym?

Sweet rig bro

Fitness freaks at Leeds uni are spending more money on gym and sport membership than anyone else in the UK.

Figures from the NatWest Student Living Index 2015 reveal gym rats at Leeds spend £6.25 a week, or £325 per year, on lifting weights and playing sport, nearly double the student average of £188.76.

At the other end of the scale, Norwich are the laziest uni with slovenly undergrads only spending under £75 a year on sport and exercise.

Dundee were the biggest-spending Scottish uni with the average student spending over 260 quid on memberships, more than a hundred pounds more than the feeble couch-potatoes at Edinburgh.
