UT Austin is officially one of the top 100 schools in the world and OU still sucks
We’re the 67th best university on earth
As if we needed reminding how great UT Austin is, we have officially been declared one of the top 100 universities in the world.
The study, which judges the best 1000 universities across the planet, placed us at 67th. There are an estimated 26,000 universities in the world.
We not only kept out place from last year but we also beat every other Texas school out there. Crucially, we beat OU, which dropped over 30 places and is now below 500th.
MIT, Stanford and Harvard all took the top spots for another year running.
The QS World University Rankings bases their scores on the expert opinions of 75,015 academics and 40,455 employers, also analyzing institutional research impact. It’s known as the definitive guide of global university rankings.
