Cristian MJC paralysed on left side after surgery complication

Cristian MJC has been paralysed after an operation on his shoulder went wrong. Also known as Matthew Clarkson, he found stardom appearing on Big Brother last year, adding to the following he had collected from his budding music career while still a student at UCL.

But the smouldering rapper stunned his 69,000 twitter followers on announcing his surgery had left him paralysed on his left side.

Cristian informed his fans of the arthritis that had plagued him “after years of swimming/gym” that made this surgery necessary. Prior to his rap career and appearance on Big Brother in 2015, the 21-year-old had been an avid swimmer, hoping to represent his country in the 2012 London Olympics.

He added: “I was sent back into A&E in an ambulance this morning at 4am due to complications in yesterday’s operation that caused infection and now internal bleeding.”

The self proclaimed ladies’ man has received much sympathy from doting fans via social media since announcing his re-admission to hospital.

Well-wishers have been numerous, and Cristian has since set us at ease, asking his fans to “stop worrying my family are taking good care of me”.
