Greggs is going to start selling more vegan items

You could say they’re on a vegan sausage ROLL

Following the massive success of the vegan sausage roll, Greggs have decided to introduce more vegan options to their menu.

Greggs profits increased massively after the vegan sausage roll was released, so they've been rolling out loads of new features as a result, including late night opening hours and delivery on Just Eat. They even had Lewis Capaldi serving up steak bakes in Middlesborough.

This is the latest in good Greggs news and we're very hyped. It's currently unknown what items will be available, the only thing for sure is that they're coming soon. A vegan bake is the obvious option, but vegan sweet treats could be a possibility too.

Greggs boss Roger Whiteside said: "It took us a couple of years to perfect our vegan sausage rolls, and I can now reveal our staff are working hard in our testing kitchens to make new meat and dairy-free products suitable for vegans. The range will get wider in the future."

So if you're annoyed there aren't more vegan options just yet, just know that it took years to make the sausage roll as tasty as it is. Good Greggs comes to those who wait.
