We found out what all The Circle contestants are like in real life

Channel 4's reality show The Circle has just kicked off its second series. The show is all about a bunch of people who can pretend to be whoever they want – just to get popular. But what are they all really like? This is what The Circle contestants' Instagrams reveal about what they are like in real life.

These eight contestants will all be living in an apartment block for the next three and a half weeks. They communicate with each other over a social media platform called "The Circle". They never actually meet. Some will play The Circle as themselves, whilst others will lie about who they are to try and make themselves more popular. The aim of the show is to be the most liked contestant, as they get voted out one by one as the days go on. The winner takes home £50,000.

Georgina Aurelia

Georgina's Instagram feed is very aesthetically pleasing. It looks like she spends a lot of time hanging around in London with friends, on holidays and going out for food and drinks.

She's also very open about suffering from Crohn's disease. She posts vlogs about her treatment and surgery and detailed posts about how it affects her day to day life.

Tim Wilson

Tim's Instagram is just as wholesome as you would expect. He drinks tea, cooks and hangs around with his cats a lot. It's obvious he didn't have Instagram before The Circle and the account is being run by his god daughter.

Tim also has his own Wikipedia page where he is listed as a "British politician". It says he studied Theology at Oxford University.

James Doran

The Circle's resident farmer Sy has a pretty farmer-ish Insta, if that's a thing. He clearly loves animals and posts loads of pictures of his dog, cows and the odd deer. He's very outdoorsy.

Katie Roe Carr

Katie is 43 in real life and her Instagram reflects that. It's a lot of photos of her family, dodgy filters and holidays. Katie is pretending to be her son Jay on The Circle and her son Jay is kinda pretending to be her by running her Instagram. Confusing.
