The Made in Chelsea cast are all stinking rich. They’re all quite good looking too. But did you know, the cast of MIC are all actually really smart as well? Yep, they have it all – brains, beauty and a load of cash.
We love to sit down every Monday and watch them all living their best lives, but have you ever wondered what the cast members did before their MIC careers? This is where all the Made in Chelsea stars went to university.

Jamie Laing
Studied at: University of Leeds

Jamie studied Theatre and Performance from 2008-2010. He told the Evening Standard: “The reason I went to Leeds was because I’d fallen in love with a girl and followed her there.”
Alex Mytton
Studied at: Oxford Brookes

Mytton went to Brookes, obviously. Have you ever seen anyone more Brookes not books in your life? He achieved a 2:1 in History. “I went for a 2:1 and a good time,” I can hear him saying it now.
Victoria Baker-Harber
Studied at: UAL

Victoria studied at arty haven that is University of the Arts London. She then went on to Regent’s College, a fancy private uni in London.
Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo
Studied at: Newcastle University

Habbs studied Media, Communications and Cultural Studies in Newcastle. She told The Newcastle Tab: “What is not to love about Newcastle! Best three years ever. Jesmond was my favourite and the fact you couldn’t go a minute without bumping into someone you know! I miss Blanc Tuesdays and just being able to go to Waitrose in your pyjamas!” She described her uni experience as crazy, amazing and challenging.
Eliza Batten
Studied at: Durham University

Eliza Batten is now in her third year studying Anthropology at Durham University. She has an Instagram story highlight about her time at Durham University, which includes videos of her and her friends sledging through halls corridors, on nights out, having initiations and flat take-aways. She’s in Hatfield College and took part in the Durham University Charity Fashion Show, of course.
Sammy Allsop
Studied at: Durham University

Sammy studied Classics at Durham, where she met Eliza Batten. Sammy went to a different college to Eliza, studying at Collingwood College and graduated in summer. Sammy also modelled in the Durham fashion shows.

James Taylor studied Global Business Management from 2014-2018 and got a 2:1. He was awarded a polo scholarship which got him 15 per cent off his tuition fees – not that the rich af Made in Chelsea lot really need that. Regent’s only gives out two of those scholarships a year, so James must have shown he has more skills than just messing girls around.
His Insta feed is full of him posing around campus during his time there. If you went to one of the only five private universities in the UK you would though, wouldn’t you.
Miles Nazaire
