We’re into the final stages of The Apprentice 2019. The final five candidates have nearly proven that they really are big shots in business. But what about before all that? Have you ever wondered what the current Apprentice candidates looked like when they were younger?

Lewis Ellis

Lewis started working in nightclubs when he was just 15-years-old. He then became an 18 – 30s rep when he was 18. After living it up and partying through his teen years he came back to the UK and went to uni. After five years he got a masters degree in marketing.

His teen life looks absolutely wild.

Scarlett Allen-Horton

Scarlett left home at 16-years-old and lived in supported accommodation. She fell pregnant at 19 and had her first child at 20. She now has two children, having had her second daughter when she was aged 24.

Pamela Laird

When Pamela was growing up, her mum owned her own salon. It was there that Pamela came up with her own products at aged 10 which she would sell to her mum’s clients. At aged 17, Pamela opened a nail bar in a local department store.

Carina Lepore

Carina is the eldest of two girls in her family. At 18 she found a business partner and opened a fashion store in Croydon. Unfortunately it closed down after 18 months. But Carina went on to work at M&S for 10 years, going from shop floor to senior management.

She now owns a family bakery.

Lottie Lion

Lottie’s parents split up when she was 12-years-old. She then went through a bit of a rebellious stage before leaving home at 17. She joined the army cadets and now, aged 19, works as a librarian.
