Ranked: The home influencers making millions on Instagram

When we talk about the influencers making millions we usually think of the ex-Love Islanders getting million pound deals with fast fashion brands, but the home influencers are giving them a run for their money earning millions from their Pinterest worthy interiors shots.

GoCompare has worked out the yearly estimated Instagram earnings from the top home influencers and some of them are raking it in.

The top ten influencers include Mrs Hinch and the McGees from Netflix’s Dream Home Makeover. All the influencers in the list have around a million followers and can make a minimum of £200k a year from posting on their Instagram and working with brands.

These are the home influencers making the most money on Instagram:

Estimated Instagram earnings: £206,391

Angela is a home influencer based in Idaho in the United States. She’s got over one million followers, with one of them being Bobby from Queer Eye, so you know she must be pretty good at what she does.

Angela is big into DIY and creating your dream home yourself. Her Instagram is full of before and after pics.

She’s had a number of impressive partnerships including teaming up with Smeg and developing her own range of cabinet doors. No wonder she can make over £200k on social posts alone.

Emily is a stylist, interior designer and New York Times best-selling author. She started her blog ten years ago and since then has amassed a huge following of nearly 1 million people on Instagram.

Melike is a home influencer based in Germany and her passion for interior design began in 2016 when she was exchanging furniture. Her Instagram has a classic Pinterest palette of grey, cream and rose gold.

Becki is an interior designer who has been working since 2001 and her projects have featured in magazines such as Good Housekeeping and Architectural Digest.

She’s based in California and has quite a few celebrities following her including Bobby Berk from Queer Eye and Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

I want to be Kelly Wearstler when I grow up. Her Instagram has a very cool aesthetic that is very different from the classic Pinterest interior look.

Kelly’s Instagram has over 1.5 million followers and she’s followed by Kourtney Kardashian and Tayce from Drag Race so you know she’s a good vibe.

After her fiancé broke up with her a week before her wedding Galey decided to fill her time with interior decorating and it’s paid off. Less than two years on from that she’s done countless decorating projects for others and set up her own company.

She works in finance during the week and then on weekends she decorates homes. The question is, does she ever sleep?

Netflix watchers will already be familiar with the power couple that is Syd and Shea McGee thanks to their show Dream Home Makeover.

The couple have their own interior design business and a mega successful Instagram account which has nearly 3 million followers.

It would be a complete shock if Mrs Hinch wasn’t included on this list. Sophie Hinchliffe has been a home influencer for a number of years and became famous for her cleaning tips.

She’s now had a number of best selling books, does frequent ads on her Instagram and appears to be mates with Stacey Soloman.

Marie Kondo is a household home influencer name thanks to her best selling book “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” and her show with Netflix.

Her Instagram is full of posts that feature her signature hashtag “tidywithmarie” and there’s also a load of cute family photos.

Now that her Netflix show has been renewed she’s likely to gain even more followers, sparking a lot of joy when she can make over £1 million from Instagram posts.
