Liam Payne is the UK’s biggest ick and these embarrassing moments prove it

‘If you don’t remove those hands, there’s a high chance you’ll never use them again.’

| UPDATED

Liam Payne has had so many embarrassing moments and the latest is his tragic appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast where he talks about disliking Zayn and hands. He has a history of being cringe as fuck and I think it’s fair to say he’s the biggest ick to ever be produced in the UK. Seriously, it takes a specific type of person to have the online confidence Liam has. Over the years he’s done a variety of cringe things in an attempt to stay relevant since One Direction came to an end. He’s posted many topless selfies which I can only assume are his way of trying to convince people he was worthy of being at least in the top four fittest 1D band members ranking. Anyway, here’s a brief history of some of  the embarrassing moments to ever happen to Liam Payne.

Liam Payne’s spoon phobia was an ick

Back in 2015, when Liam was at the ripe old age of 22-years-old he announced on Capital FM that he was scared of spoons. He said the fear comes from spoons in restaurants and other people’s homes which aren’t clean so he refuses to have them when eating. This then started the classic question: “HOW DO YOU EAT SOUP LIAM?” which quickly became the personality trait of every single secondary school girl across the UK.

He used the Snapchat dog filter in 2017!!! Someone should have stopped this man.

Liam Payne saying there are many reasons why he dislikes Zayn

Liam’s entire appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast was awful. He made so many comments about his former band members, especially Zayn Malik. Liam said: “Listen, before we go too deeply into this, there are many reasons I dislike Zayn and there are many reasons why I’ll always be on his side. If I had had to go through what he went through, through his growth and whatever else. My parents are overly supportive, to the point where it’s annoying at times, and Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense.”

He says his first solo song outsold everyone in One Direction

Whilst on Logan’s podcast Liam says his first song Strip That Down was the most successful solo album out of everyone in One Direction. But statistics from streaming services proved this theory to be incorrect and Liam, in actual fact, placed seventh. But we love someone who tries!

Do I really need to explain why this was an ick?

Posting this with absolutely no context

I feel like captioning a post with “oh hey!” is bad enough, let alone the words being upside down and on a post where you’re doing a handstand outside a museum. It’s so cursed.

When he bragged about having ‘plane lag’ and then deleted his post

Liam tried to show off and prove to everyone he’s a mega cool jet-setter but in doing so he created a hilarious mistake. He somehow mixed up jet lag with plane lag and the internet simply lost it. In the end Liam took his post down and to make matters worse it was during his Rita Ora collab era – a grave mistake.

When he released an album purely about sex

You can read the ranking here but seriously, these songs are pure FILTH.

Liam’s pandemic TikTok content made me squirm

Look, the pandemic has been a hellish time for everyone but what we didn’t need was Liam Payne getting stuck in on TikTok. Especially when he’s singing Mood Swings which has lyrics like “Shorty a lil baddie, shorty my lil boo thing, and shorty got the fatty.” And have we all forgotten his creepy whisper about eating cookies? HORRENDOUS.
