Sarah Michelle Gellar Wolf Pack

Omg! Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to TV as the lead role on new Teen Wolf spin off

SMG back doing supernatural teen drama? Huge win for the gays

As someone who has “Sarah Michelle Gellar enthusiast” written boldly in his Twitter, Instagram AND Grindr bio, you might say that the news of Sarah Michelle Gellar making her acting comeback and return to TV as she’s announced as the lead role in Paramount Plus’ Teen Wolf spin off Wolf Pack calls for somewhat of a celebration. Nay, a national holiday. This is a huge day for annoying gays born in the 90s – AKA, me.

The news was announced during San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, where Sarah Michelle Gellar made a surprise appearance as a panelist during the panel for Teen Wolf: The Movie. As she was introduced to the stage, it was confirmed that she’d already started shooting for the show. It’s happening!

Wolf Pack is written and executively produced by Jeff Davis, who developed Teen Wolf. Sarah also will executively produce the show. Wolf Pack is based on a novel about two teenagers whose lives are changed forever when a supernatural creature gets awakened in California after some wildfires. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays the role of arson specialist investigator Kristin Ramsey, who is called in to investigate the wildfires that has potentially lead to the reawakening of a supernatural creature that’s terrorising Los Angeles.

I have literally been screaming at anyone who would listen that Sarah Michelle Gellar is due her grand return as the lead in a big show again, and I’m so glad she’s going to be back on our screens for Wolf Pack – and back in the supernatural teen drama world that she’s so known for. Of course, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is her legacy – but she’s equally as iconic as Daphne Blake in Scooby-Doo. She’s back and I will never come down from this euphoric high, baby!
