The plastic surgeon who suggested giving Natalia Dyer a new face has finally apologised

Miranda Wilson, a plastic surgeon on TikTok, has finally apologised for suggesting Natalia Dyer from Stranger Things needs a new face.  Fans of Natalia have called out Miranda’s remarks and described her video as “rude” and “toxic”.

Miranda Wilson suggested she would slim Natalia’s face by treating her masseter muscles. She also recommended chin fillers which would help fill out Natalia’s chin. She also said Natalia could get lip fillers, a brow lift and botox. Then the end of the TikTok showed Natalia’s face photoshopped with a side-by-side before and after look.

The original video has since been deleted following the backlash Miranda Wilson received. She has since issued an apology hoping to “clear the air” saying she wasn’t suggesting Natalia Dyer “needed” any work. She continues to say she didn’t mean to offend anyone and Natalia is stunning the way she is – that’s why she’s so successful. Miranda says: “I was simply offering suggestions – not on what you have to do – just on what the possibilities are. As an advanced injector that is what we do – we look at faces and assess and look at the possibilities.”

Miranda then went on to go and look at which improvements could be made to her own face. It’s all a bit messy, isn’t it?
