Here’s the full lineup of the artists who performed at the disaster that was Woodstock ’99
Alanis Morissette on before Limp Bizkit is a major clash of vibes
If you haven’t watched Trainwreck: Woodstock ’99 on Netflix yet, I cannot recommend the jaw dropping documentary to you enough. The three part docuseries details the Woodstock festival of 1999 – what was meant to be a 30 year anniversary celebration marking the legacy of the original but what turned into a Lord of the Flies-esque rampage of destruction, crime, fire and rioting. The series touches on the major artists in the festival’s lineup who were pivotal to the events that went down – but here’s the full rundown of all the artists who played Woodstock ’99 that you might not have seen in Trainwreck on Netflix.
It wasn’t all hard rock
Trainwreck: Woodstock ’99 shows quite a few of the bands and singers off who were in the lineup and even has interviews with some of them. Limp Bizkit, Fatboy Slim, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jewel all feature heavily. There were two major stages at Woodstock ’99, with the West Stage having smaller artists besides a few notable names like Ice Cube, Los Lobos and The Chemical Brothers. The East Stage, however, was where all the shit hit the fan, so to speak.
