Emily SmithPeople on TikTok are absolutely convinced that Harry Styles will be headlining Glastonbury in 2023 and it’s a pretty convincing theory. Last week, tickets went on sale for the 2023 run of Harry’s Love on Tour stadium shows across Europe, and someone on TikTok has come up with the theory based off of his tour dates.
The TikTok, which now has over 700,000 views, theorises Harry Styles is going to be headlining Glastonbury next year because of the way the dates line up on his new tour. Harry is playing a show at Cardiff Principality Stadium on Tuesday 20th June, but then has a four-day gap until his show in Belgium on Saturday 24th June.
As Glastonbury 2023 is taking place from the 23rd to the 25th, people are convinced that Harry will be taking to the Pyramid Stage in the headline slot on Friday 23rd June. Given this date lineup, and with Harry never making an appearance at the festival before, as well as the success of his latest album, the rumour seems possible that Harry may headline Glasto next year. To say I am excited would be an understatement. However, no acts for next year’s Glastonbury lineup have yet been confirmed.
The TikTok ended with: “So thank you Mr Harry Styles for basically confirming that you are going to be headlining Glastonbury on 23rd June.” Harry Styles fans have been going crazy for this news with one commenting: “Cardiff isn’t too far from Glastonbury either, so I think you could be on to something” and another saying: “Well, guess I’m going to Glastonbury.”
Although an official date for when Glastonbury tickets go on sale hasn’t been set, it is usually in early October and if this rumour is true then I will absolutely be in the queue.
