Aber flasher who said he was ‘adjusting his avocado sized testicles’ has been jailed

He exposed himself to students in Matalan

A flasher who claimed he was adjusting his giant testicles has been jailed for indecent exposure.

Maximilien Kelly will serve a 20 week suspended sentence for exposing himself to students. He was also given an additional 16 week suspended sentence for breaching a former conviction.

He claims that he was adjusting his “avocado sized testicles,” but this happened to take place in the centre of the Matalan store in front of female shoppers.

Mr Kelly also claimed he had a rare condition which caused his genitals to swell – leading to him to inadvertently expose himself in the store in Aberystwyth last September.

But the 25-year-old musician was found guilty of indecent exposure following his trial where it emerged he had a string of previous convictions for the same offence.

Kelly claims to have a condition called hydrocele, to which he told the court the effect was it made his testicles swell up to four times their normal size.

He was found unanimously guilty by the jury after it emerged he had a string of previous indecent exposure convictions – having exposed himself from the window of his home in Park Street, Aberystwyth six times previously.

The court heard he had previously used a laser pen to attract females before exposing himself from his window.

He was given a suspended jail term by Ceredigion magistrates – a term which was still active at the time he committed the offence in Matalan.

At a sentencing hearing in Swansea Crown Court on Friday Kelly was jailed for a total of 20 weeks for the incident in Matalan on September 30 last year.

All victims were women aged 18-22, and consequently Mr Kelly has been banned from entering a Matalan store.

Judge Peter Heywood gave Kelly a further 16 week-term for breaching the suspended jail sentence – meaning he was sentenced to a total of 36 weeks in jail.

Judge Heywood, sentencing, told Kelly’s defending team: “I take the view that I would be failing in my public duty if I did anything other than activate that breach.”
