Legs 11 on Broad Street ‘drugged’ and ‘defrauded’ customers

Popular lap dancing club Legs 11 has, allegedly, been drugging customers and charging thousands of pounds of unauthorised transactions to their credit cards, a report claims.

The infamous Broad Street venue had its alcohol license temporarily suspended  on July 4th, following a joint police and trading standards raid in June.

A detailed report, which was assembled by Birmingham City Council’s licensing team, contains police allegations that the club had fleeced up to £93,042 from customers.

A further licensing meeting held in private on July 14th, led to the revocation of the Sexual Entertainment Venue licenses for both Legs 11 and another lap dancing club based in Chinatown.

In the report, Supt Andy Parsons said the police was investigating the club after claims that large amounts of money was being taken from people’s bank accounts without their knowledge.

Incredibly, one victim has claimed he has lost up to £19,417.

He added: “One of the victims went as far as getting a home drug test kit which indicated he was under the influence of methadone. This victim had £9,000 taken from his credit card.”

Legs 11 has not yet responded with a comment.

West Midlands police have confirmed the criminal investigations are currently ongoing. No arrests have been made.
