Get your comfy pyjamas on, grab that tub of chocolate ice cream and delve right into your favourite series that you can never stop finding funny. There's nothing like an evening of self-indulgence to cure your achy breaky heart.

Crying and eating all day

Maybe you fancy a day of feeling sorry for yourself. If this is the case, you'll probably be sitting on the sofa sobbing your heart out, eating the half price sweet things you treated yourself to and watching The Notebook. Sounds like a quality plan!

Reading

I don't mean the leisurely kind. For a lot of people, Feb 14th is just like any other day. Use it to be boring and get ahead of the reading you need to do for that seminar, or type up those lecture notes and lure yourself into a false sense of security and feeling that your life is together by being this organised. Sometimes you have to be cruel to yourself to be kind.

Getting drunk down the pub

Perhaps you're planning to go down the S'oak for a game of pool. Or maybe you're going down to the Goose to have a drink or two (or three or four) with your mates. Whichever one you end up doing, how about professing your love for your mates instead over a few cheeky beverages?
