All of the restaurants within one mile of UoB involved in the Eat Out To Help Out scheme

The new Eat Out To Help Out scheme is starting on Monday 3 and running right through to August 31 for every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The scheme allows customers to get 50 percent off food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a value of £10 per person if you eat or drink in.

However, the scheme does not include alcoholic drinks and service charges.

There are a number of food outlets popular with UoB students involved in the scheme including Dilshad’s restaurant, Subway and The Plough in Harborne.

There is no minimum spend needed with the scheme and no limit to the number of times customers can use the discount throughout August. Also, no voucher is needed to take part as the discount gets automatically taken off the bill.

The Birmingham Tab has listed all of the restaurants within one mile of the university involved in the new scheme.  You can use the government widget to search your own postcode here.

Subway

Subway is involved in the new scheme

Under the new scheme you can buy a small meal for one at £3.99 which includes any subway favourite, a packet of crisps, a cookie and a drink. That means you will be able to save four pounds from your meal.

Students will be able to get a discount at the Plough Harborne with this new scheme. During Brunch which is served from 11am to 3pm, students can get their usual bacon butty and sausage sarnie for only £3.25 each.

Dilshad Restaurant

Dilshad’s is a popular restaurant among students at UoB, the scheme reduces the price of the popular Tandoori Special to just £6.48 and Butter Chicken is now less than a fiver.
