Two men shot on Far Gosford Street just four days before Freshers

Maddy MussenPolice officers were called to Far Gosford Street at 10.30pm last night to respond to reports of a shooting.
West Midlands Police stated: "Police are investigating a shooting in Coventry after officers were called to Far Gosford Street at around 10.30pm last night (Monday 17 September).
"A short time later two men, aged 18 and 21, presented at hospital with gunshot injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening."
Armed police were then seen at around 11.30pm patrolling the area. A large area of Far Gosford Street remains cordoned off by the police.
It is not known yet if the men involved are Coventry University students. We will bring you more information on this incident as we have it.
