We tried some of the Internet’s weirdest dating sites
Being single is just too hard
With the horny buzz of refreshers over, we decided to try out some dating websites to get it rolling again.
But these aren’t your run of the mill dating websites, like OKCupid, eHarmony, or JDate.
We signed up for mulletpassions.com, positivesingles.com, clowndating.com, and diapermates.com
That’s right, these are all real websites.
Of course, we weren’t going to put any real information on these sites, so Tabatha was born.
Mullet Passions
The first step was putting in our bio.
Who could actually write 2000 characters on their ‘mullet passions’?
Then we spent 45 minutes answering a ridiculous plethora of questions.
There were so many categories we couldn’t fit it into one screenshot
And once activated, we quickly learnt that “mullet passion-eers” don’t leave much to the imagination, and we were soon washed with a hair-raising wave of regret.
What have we gotten ourselves into…
By the end of our week on mulletpassions.com, however, the only message we had received was the confirmation of account message.
Maybe Billy Ray Cyrus and I just weren’t meant to be
The characters on mulletpassions.com are a lot less, shall we say, charismatic, than some on our other sites.
Positive Singles
A dating website for the bubbly, optimistic, painfully energetic souls of the world? Not necessarily.
Positive Singles matches you with other singles close to you that are positive for the same STDs.
Unfortunately, selecting every possible choice of STD made it difficult for Tabby to find love on this website.
No preference for our match, ’cause we’re open minded folk
In the end though, we found that there are some seemingly genuinely nice people on this site.
Wink, wink
But because we didn’t pay for the gold membership, we didn’t have the ability to wink at others on the site, receive our own account manager, or view our compatible matches.
Clown Dating
One of the websites we were most excited to find our one true love on.
Who wouldn’t want a love like theirs?
The clowns on this site are really very active, Tabatha had received dozens of matches in just a few days.
Page one… of 10
And although we received 16 messages, we couldn’t read them or view the profiles of our star-crossed jokers…
So many clowns
Because we wouldn’t pay the heavy price of up to £34.90.
Ouch
But every time we logged in, this bad ass popped up in the corner of the screen, which made it all okay.
this is why I’m afraid of clowns
Diaper Mates
This was easily the most entertaining dating site of the lot.
Diaper Mates is a very active online community of “Adult Babies and Diapers lovers”.
The site even boasts it is the “internet’s largest free personals community” for these sort of like minded people.
Prepare your eyes for Diaper Mates’ sponsors…
if this doesn’t make you shudder, maybe this site is for you
According to her bio, Tabby is really quite diaper mad.
Shudder
We even got some profile comments complimenting our great bio…
We’re quite poop-ular
Tabatha was positively swarmed with messages. Some of them didn’t have quite a way with words though, like anthonyland_uk
Creative
But some like Terry_Plastic just got straight to the point
Raunchy
Our favourite is messydoc though, a direct gentleman that knows what he wants.
Same here
We’ll stick to Tinder.
