Take an exclusive sneak peak at this year’s nude netball calendar

The Edinburgh University Netball team have released their annual naked calendar to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support and it is banging.

Macmillan consists of a variety of volunteers, professionals and even those affected by cancer themselves in order to help those who are diagnosed. Their website states “Right from the moment you’re diagnosed, through your treatment and beyond, we’re a source of support, giving you the energy and inspiration to help you feel more like yourself.”

As if this isn’t reason enough to buy the calendar, it’s also extremely saucy.

This year the team have really put in the effort to make their calendar as appealing as possible by going “Au Natural” in most of the photos. Sponsorship and puclicity sec Claire Morrison said: “The shots are a mixture of netball related photos, on court in the changing rooms etc, and also taken in pubs and clubs. In past years the girls have kept underwear on, but for most of the photos they’ve braved the full nude”

The pubs and clubs featured in the calendar have donated money in return to help with the grand total the girls will donate to charity.

Not that anyone is complaining.

The Netball society, consists of 72 girls that form six teams, the top of which is ranked first in Scotland and their thirds are currently in the top 2 of their league.Nine of their players also happen to be in the Scottish Uni Team, which makes up over half of their squad.

The calendar will be on sale outside the library after the 14th of December. Calendars will also be sold by Greenmantle and Southsider, meaning there are no excuses for not snapping one up before the New Year.
